Cable & Streaming Options

Streaming Services:

A major upside to subscription based streaming services is that there is no contract, you can pay by the month and cancel at any time.

Peacock

$4.99/month | Watch all Hallmark Networks & New Movie Premieres up to 3 days after airing

As of November 2nd, all 3 Hallmark networks are streaming on Peacock Premium. The 2022 new premieres are on demand for 3 days after they premiere. You will want to print out the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas calendar online to know when the movies premiere and watch within 3 days or take note of the premieres below. In addition to the premieres, past movies are streaming live.

Hallmark Movies Now

$5.99/month or $59.99/year | Hallmark Movies, but not the new movies

This is an inexpensive, easy-to-use streaming app to watch past Hallmark classics, around 150 movies, for a lower price. A major drawback is that the new movie premieres are not streaming on this service, though some new content will be added this season.  Though last 2021 season, Hallmark Movies Now premiered it’s first ever new movie, Every Time a Bell Rings with Erin Cahill and Wes Brown.

YouTube TV

$64.99/month | All 3 Hallmark Networks & Unlimited amount of time to record and watch movies

New Users can watch for 2 weeks and cancel at any time.

YouTubeTV has 100+ channels including all 3 Hallmark Networks. You can record Hallmark Movies and have them in your library for an unlimited time. I had YouTubeTV for years and it is very easy to navigate and record movies and shows.

Frndly TV

$6.99-$10.99/month | All 3 Hallmark Networks

Frndly has 15 family-friendly channels. I have had Frndly on and off for years for $8.99 per month, which you need a higher pay tier in order to record the movies. If you pay $6.99, you cannot record movies and have to watch live. I have cancelled my Frndly subscription so many times because this app is so glitchy. Often when I pause a movie, the movie does not play or starts over entirely.

Philo

$25/month | All 3 Hallmark Networks

Philo has 71 channels and is a less expensive subscription based streaming service. A major drawback is no local or national channels or live sports. I love the news, so this is not a good option for me. Though it does have the Paramount Network embedded into the service which is another money saver.

Fubo

$6.99-$10.99/month | All 3 Hallmark Networks

Frndly has 15 family-friendly channels. I have had Frndly on and off for years for $8.99 per month, which you need a higher pay tier in order to record the movies. If you pay $6.99, you cannot record movies and have to watch live. I have cancelled my Frndly subscription so many times because this app is so glitchy. Often when I pause a movie, the movie does not play or starts over entirely.

Cable Services:

Cable TV can be a good option to pair with internet and mobile packages. Depending on where you live, some packages from cable providers may not be available. A major downside to cable options is that there is a contract, often for 2 years/24 months.

DirecTV

$64.99-$139.99/month | Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

The highest tier includes HBO Box and Showtime, which are premium channels that usually you need to pay additional for.

Dish

$69.99-$104.99/month, depending on plan tier | Only Hallmark Channel

Dish offers 190-290 channels

Hallmark Channel is included in the basic plan.

Spectrum

$39.99-$59.99 | All 3 Hallmark Networks

Philo has 71 channels and is a less expensive subscription based streaming service. A major drawback is no local or national channels or live sports. I love the news, so this is not a good option for me. Though it does have the Paramount Network embedded into the service which is another money saver.

COX

$98/month-$138/month | Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

140-250+ channels, depending on plan tier chosen. In order to get Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Mvoies and Mysteries, you must have the minimum of the Preferred Plan and not the Starter Plan which is $53/month.

Xfinity

Prices vary depending on area and package | Only Hallmark Channel
