The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby makes surprise appearances and/or gets mentioned in these Hallmark Movies.

Wedding Veil The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby explores themes of riches, societal expectations, and the risks of pursuing the American Dream during the Jazz Age and Roaring Twenties. It’s a book that pops up in Hallmark Movies quite often! I’m not exactly sure why since it doesn’t seem to directly connect to the storylines. Perhaps it’s just a beloved favorite among the production team, writers, or directors. I find this so intriguing!

The Great Gatsby

F. Scott Fitzgerald's iconic novel, The Great Gatsby, delves into the themes of wealth, society, and the American Dream during the Jazz Age and Roaring Twenties. It is a warning of the potential downfall that comes with excessive riches.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

The Way Home's Alice may have been born out of a love for the classic novel, Alice in Wonderland. The titular character, Alice, and the real Alice share a common experience of entering a new and unknown world. Alice may have been named after this beloved character as a way to honor the story and the journey it represents.
